Rafael Palmeiro got caught using steroids. Wow, fancy that. The man who last march insisted in no equivicoble terms that he has never used steroids, now has to face a 10 game suspension. Jose Conseco originally claimed that Palmeiro was a juicer, but now he is stating the opposite. He said on Sporting News Radio this afternoon that he doubts Palmeiro is using right now; he thinks that the player’s union is setting him up.

All that tells me is that any cred that I might have given Conseco for having (possibly) been right, is gone before I knew it. I heard that at the same time as I heard about Palmeiro, and it just made me laugh as I went along.

Both of them are a bunch of yokels.
