Probably not big news anymore, but while I was out of town Jerry Rice retired. He was a great talent, and I am glad that he got some years out of him that nobody saw coming. He enjoyed himself and kept himself in the game as long as somebody was willing to let him. He only opted for retirement after he would have had to spend the majority of a season deactivated as the number 4 receiver. Good luck with your future endeavors, Jerry; I expect to see you behind a desk on the babble box within a few years time.
