Nomar Garciaparra rescues two women from drowning
Nomar Garciaparra was visiting with his uncle Victor last week in Boston when two women fell into the water, one bumping her head and going unconscious. Nomar sprinted down to the women while his uncle jumped off a 20 foot balcony into the water to rescue the two women.
Good on him, I say. I miss having Nomar in town; the Red Sox were right to trade him to the Cubs since he has spent the last two seasons injured, but I thought he was a stand up guy and I was not happy to hear about the trade when it happened.
