I went to school at RIT where you would get winds in the 20s on a calm day sometimes. Coming back over the bridge today though when I was on the southern side of it, I got some sand kicked into my face from the trucks going by and the wind funneling it at me. It's much worse on a road bike. took the bike out for a spin one day. Had a huge tailwind behind me. Cranked out an average of 20-25mph on the way out. Guess what?
