6:47 amAnimated How-To, Weight Lifting
I took some pictures of how to do different exercises at the gym. The goal will be to illustrate a new move each week. As always, if you are embarking on a new exercise program you should first consult your doctor, and if you are new to weight lifting you should hire a personal trainer to show you the proper form and make sure that you are doing the exercise correctly.
I will try to have a new animated guide each Tuesday.
- Rotating the Torso: Functional Fitness Routine
- New animated pushup demo at Okolo.org
- Another animated swiss ball bench press
- This just in: Breaking your neck not recommended
- How To: Pullups

It has been something I have been planning on doing for a month or two now. Getting to the gym with another set of hands and a camera when the gym is not particularly crowded has not been easy, though. I managed to get photos of 7 or 8 of the 10 different exercises I was showing my photographer how to do, and I should be able to create articles for at least 5 or 6 of those.
The rest will probably have to wait until after I switch gyms; then I won’t have to pay for whoever I drag with me to take the photos since the two that are most likely to do so will have memberships.

[...] I began my animated series on how to do different exercises a year ago. The series began with how to do dumbbell shrugs. [...]
