I don’t know if this is the case out in Washington, but I was going on the (possibly false) assumption that it was similar to out here where they don’t actually serve the alcohol there but allow you to carry it outside with you. It has to be somehow seperated from the public, as on a deck or behind a roped off area or in a courtyard. Alcoholic beverages generally can not be brought outside an establishment except under those circumstances.

If smoking did get banned in their hut, though, that would be funny…
