I still forget things on occasion. Most of the times that I forget a towel, there was a race involved so I had a new t-shirt to use in the towel's place that I wasn't going to wear anyway. All it takes is one time where you forget to bring clean underwear, or you're forced to wipe off with your old clothes after a shower, and you never forget again.
