I'll second the benefits of ice massage. Works miracles. I completed a half marathon yesterday and my first order of business, other than getting some carbs and amino acids down my throat, was to hop in a tub of cold water (up to my waist)and pour in two bags of ice. Everything is hunky dory today with the exception of tendonitis in both knees...although it is much better now than it was last night. Ice, ice and more ice!
