Bode Miller wins on Beaver Creek Birds of Prey
Bode Miller gave us an American win for the Beaver Creek Birds of Prey course in the World Cup downhill competition this week. He missed a gate in the Super-Combined event on Thursday after a course worker slipped and fell onto the course, but he dominated the downhill with a time of 1:46.15. It is his first World Cup win in 2 years, and the third year in a row that an American won this particular event. Peter Fill of Italy is leading the World Cup after 5 (of 38) races with 184 points. Bode Miller is 8th with 120 points.
