Turn on the turn signals at corners by holding out your arm

When you want to take a corner with a wider angle, hold out your arm to keep anybody from cutting to the inside. You’ll let them know you are turning, and you will keep them from cutting you off. There is less of a chance that you will step on each other, and very few people will try to run through you so you maintain your position. The slight break in momentum is rarely noticable except in all out sprints and is evened out by not needing to cut a corner as tightly and keeping up your momentum that way.
