The problem of lack of drinking water is huge, over 1 billion don't have access to clean waer, 2 million die every year! tht's why my run is also supporting clean water initiatives in Africa - raising funds for One water - to be used installing Playpumps in Africa, a brilliant way to provide clean water for a whole community. In November 2009 I’m making the first ever attempt to run across the Sahara Solo:

Sure people deserve food and good water to drink, but they also should not be living where the earth will not support them. Its a tough thought process.
