		<description>Good point.  Bringing the trail map with you in a gallon sized plastic bag is an even better one!  I never did that when I ran with John, though.  Probably what led to us getting lost...</description>

		<description>On long trail runs it is fairly easy to get lost, heading in one direction believing you&#039;re heading in one direction while actually heading in the other.  Blaine and I have experienced this on a number of occassions. I suppose its not terrible to familiarize yourself with a trail map before embarking on a long run</description>

		<description>Excellent beginning to this month&#039;s series.  I tripped and fell into a briar bush one time during a trail race and almost got run over by the guy behind me! I love trail running its much more enjoyable than the roads, I prefer counting deer to cars!</description>
