Thanks for the support, we all need some. I wish I had known the course better as I was only 22 seconds behind my age group 1st place finisher who only passed me somewhere about 1 mile from the finish. Had I know the finish was that close and that he was 1st in my age group I think I could have come up with a little something extra….maybe…

I actually like the picture you got of me, I look so fast!! I must say the tromping through that big puddle at the finish was the high point of my race. I was a little disapointed though as I had so much energy left.

Congrats on your great time and win…….I have never won a race, though I did place second once when only 6 people showed up to race and all the fast people ran somewhere else. None the less a second place finish.
