WOW!!! This has nothing to do with the 5K Cross Country I ran in Portland two weeks ago… Tell me about mudd!!! LOL

The way your report about it makes this race sounds like lots of fun but I don’t think I am ready for this yet… LOL — I think I’d better go for the beginner level at Bradbury first… LOL

I had brought my video camera at the Turkey Trot 5K in Cape Elizabeth this past Sunday and I had planned to film our race as a group (I didn’t race but just ran for fun) but my battery was empty after I took a few photos… It is a brand new camera and I thought the capacity of the battery was higher than it actually is… Argh! Too bad…

Great report Blaine. The book was “Personal Record” by Rachel Toor. 26.2 short chapters on different aspects of long distance trail (mostly) running and racing. I enjoyed most of the book but I got the message that she has a habit of stalking married men, which sort of creeped me out. – Jeff
