I am a couch potato with bad cholesterol and my heart arrhythmia causing me problems. But I've decided to turn it around, I'm 46 now. I plan to train to run a 2 k I jokingly told my father in law years ago I was going to run the Boston marathon. He laughed and told me I wasn't going to I've got to run it to say I did. Do you think it's possible? Your story inspired me yet it also scared me What have I opened mouth and gotten myself into ?for now I'm trying to train to run from my porch to my truck in case it rains

Hey Candice-

Loved the writeup! And glad to hear you got over your leg/knee issue that you were having last November. (I sat next to you at the Minnesota/Illinois game last year - drinking the captain's). I finished at 3:17:24, and it was an amazing experience. There was nothing like turning for home and seeing the finish line of the Boston Marathon...

Hope all is well,
Chris

What a great post! It even made my heart beat faster like I was running. I haven't qualified for Boston yet, but my goal is to do it this year, and reading this has given me all the more reason to do it. Thanks for the inspiration.
