Here’s a quick clip that my friend Stephen Wells took during this weekend’s barefoot 5k:

I was getting close to the end of the race here, and had passed quite a few people from the “normal” 5k that started 10 minutes before the barefoot race. Nobody that was shod ran faster than me, since I had a faster time than the 5k winner, the canicross 5k winner, and all of the folks wearing Vibram Five Fingers in my own race. And, obviously, the 10k runners had a much tougher course that was twice as long.

I was third overall, getting beaten by 2 other barefoot runners.
