Watch the elites race, and then go for a run with them!
On Saturday (August 4th), you can watch the elite runners as they battle for the win at the 10th annual TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10k. After you have watched them race, you can then go for a run with them.
On Wednesday, August 8th, the top finishers from the Beach to Beacon will be jogging around the Back Cove in the 13th Weekly Back Cove race. The series runs from May through September every Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. and is always free of charge. This year continues the tradition of getting the elite runners from the race out to run on the Wednesday after the Beach to Beacon.
Unfortunately, this is the only Back Cove race that I expect to miss.

For more information about the Weekly Back Cove racing series, you can click here to visit the Back Cove Series website. You can register at the parking lot across from Hannaford’s before the race. You can still place in the overall series standings even if this will be your first race in the series!

Very cool. When you mentioned this Tuesday at Twin Brooks, it didn’t quite register for some reason. Neat that they do that.
