Brian Westbrook of the Philadelphia Eagles is out for the season after the hit he took from Jimmy Williams (Seattle Seahawks) on Monday night.
The results of an MRI came back late Tuesday afternoon, and the tests revealed that Westbrook has a Lis Franc sprain in his right foot. He will miss the remainder of the season. […] It was not known on Tuesday night if Westbrook’s injury will require surgery.
Philadelphia has just been decimated this year. McNabb, TO, Lito Sheppard, and Tra Thomas; they are quickly starting to look like the Patriot’s injury roster. Hopefully all these guys can get healthy and come back strong next year.
