Dallas, Kansas City, Oakland, and San Diego are not playing this week.

This means that half of my fantasy football team is on a bye, but that’s what I get for not drafting my own team and not trying to make any moves after I got back from my honeymoon.

I had a tougher time making picks this week. There should be some good games. I think that Jake Plummer is going to do really well against the Patriots, but he will not have quite enough to overcome them. I think Houston will get their first win, and New Orleans will hand Atlanta their first loss. It is going to be an emotionally charged game, and Atlanta is going to be very difficult to overcome.

I think that even with a bye week coming up, the Raiders are going to have a tough time not sinking further into the whole. Maybe I give them too little credit, but they have to be the worst team in the league. I even have Green Bay getting a win before them, since I doubt that they will beat the Browns next week. They are that bad.

  1. Carolina at Tampa Bay
  2. Chicago at Minnesota
  3. Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
  4. Green Bay at Detroit
  5. Jacksonville at Indianapolis
  6. N.Y. Jets at Buffalo
  7. Tennessee at Miami
  8. Washington at Houston
  9. Baltimore at Cleveland
  10. N.Y. Giants at Seattle
  11. Philadelphia at San Francisco
  12. St. Louis at Arizona
  13. Denver at New England
  14. Atlanta at New Orleans

My picks are underlined. Winning teams are emphasized. Incorrect picks are crossed out.

Like I had said, I had a really tough time making picks this week. A few of the games were outright guesses. As such I was 7 for 14, which is only a 50% average for the week. That brings my total down to 29 of 46, or 63%; that is nearly a 6% drop from last week for the season.
