Rest is awarded this week to Arizona, Carolina, N.Y. Jets, and Philadelphia.

I think that Pittsburgh and Minnesota are going to bounce back from last week’s losses and really put the hurt on Denver and San Francisco. Peyton Manning is going to show once more that he can’t play in New England. Dallas is going to carry their new quarterback momentum one more week, and Oakland is going to go back to their early season form and get trounced by Seattle.

My picks are underlined. Winning teams are emphasized. Incorrect picks are crossed out.

Last week’s awful trend continues this week with another 6 for 8. That brings my total for the season to 77 for 122. In my defense, I made these picks last Monday before I got ready for my vacation. I would have changed a few of them with knowledge gained later in the week, which would have been a good change in all but one of the picks. That does not really matter, though, because I had a great vacation and I did not bother to change my picks before the games started, so I was stuck with them.
