Interested in watching the USA vs The World track meet on Monday, but don’t live anywhere near Fresno, California? Well you are in luck!

Track fans can watch the first world-class domestic track meet of the Olympic year free of charge via live Webcast, when the 2008 Visa Championship Series kicks off Monday, January 21 with USA vs. The World at Run for the Dream in Fresno, Calif. The unique competition pitting Team USA athletes against rivals from around the world will be webcast at www.usatf.sportnet.com and also will be available via link from www.usatf.org.

With National Track & Field Hall of Famers Dwight Stones and Dan O’Brien calling the action, the Webcast will be shown live starting at 7 p.m. Pacific/10 p.m. Eastern. It will be available via video-on-demand starting on Tuesday, January 22.

That’s pretty sweet, although I doubt that I am going to be up late enough to actually watch it. I will definitely be checking out the replays on Tuesday, though.
