The Waterford Fall Foliage 5k was this morning. There were 136 finishers. Timothy Evan of Stoneham won the race in 17:02, beating Josh Rice by 54 seconds. Alison Stuermos beat Dana Welch by 21 seconds to win the race in 20:54.
There was also a 1 mile kids race. Seven year old Keegan Nelligan managed to edge out eleven year old Lauren Galley to win the race in 7:37. Caleb Fillebrown was 12 seconds behind them.
There were 47 children in the race.

Our family raced at the Waterford Fall Foliage road race. We had a blast! I just cannot help bragging that my son, Philip Anderson, age 7 finished the kid’s race in 7:52! And daughter Helen Anderson, age 9, finished it in 9:27. Go get’em kids!
