A pet peeve of mine happens to be people that ride or run on the wrong side of the road. Bicycles are required by law to travel in the same direction as traffic, and pedestrians should run opposing traffic.

This time of year a lot of people invade Cape Elizabeth to train for the Beach to Beacon, my team amongst them. There is a series of hills from mile 5 to about 5.7 that we do repeats on to prepare for the race. On the way back to the high school (where we parked), I passed numerous people that were running on the same side of the road as me, but were running towards me.

Why should I have to run out into traffic because these people are too stupid to run on the correct side of the road?

Just a pet peeve. Much safer if you follow the rules.
