I switched gears this week and started on my next fitness routine, which I will detail later. The item of note that I wanted to mention now is about the crunch machine, which I had never actually used before. I have done the gamut of situps, leg raises, crunches, pulleys and the like, but had never gotten around to using one of the cruch machines. So, I worked one into my workouts this week, and man, does it burn! Not that it is very difficult to get your abs to burn, but most of the ab work I do does not involve a whole lot of weight outside my own body mass. I’ll certainly keep it in the repertoire; the key to strong abs is to work them using a plethora of different exercises. The key to good abs (washboard/6 pack style) is diet.
