The Steelers won the Superbowl last night, and not surprisingly Jerome Bettis retired immiediately afterward.

It’s funny, athletes always talk about ending their careers on top, but so few of them have any idea what that really means. When it’s time to leave the game, athletes believe what’s most important is the number of championships, number of carries, number of yards, number of points and number of goals.

My question now is which network will Jerome Bettis be working for next year? I have no doubt that he’ll be one of those pre-game and half time guys that talk about the games on Fox and CBS.
