I am considering the purchase of a pair of Vitruvian Running Shoes. I first heard about them after listening to an interview with the owner of Vitruvian Running on Run Cast Weekly.
The shoes are mail order only, and have a very good return policy. I emailed the company a month or two ago, and was given a suggestion as to which shoe I should try based on what I use now. I am at that point where it is time to start breaking in a new pair of shoes.
Does anybody have any experience with these shoes? What did you think? How long did they last? Am I just crazy for considering the purchase of some shoes I’ve never tried on before?
I’d definitely be leery of buying shoes without trying… but if you are sure the return policy is on the level, there’s no harm in testing them out!
I called and spoke with the owner for 20 minutes about the shoes and return policy, and bought a couple pair to try. I should get them next week and will give them a try. After I’ve had a bit of time with them I’ll let you know what I think.
