I have replaced my old search box with a Google search box. Hopefully, it will make it easier to find articles on the website. I was not happy with the way that the old box performed searches. Let me know if you find anything funky with the way that it works or the way that it displays results on the website.
In order to make the results fit, I had to get rid of my left/right layout. I am still trying to find a way to make this all work and still be able to navigate around, so the search results page may change a bit over the next few days. In the meantime, you can get at the calendar, a search box, and the home page along with your helping of results now.
Blaine, I didn’t think you were allowed to have adsense ads on google search result pages. Or have they changed this?
They changed the way that their search bar works. Instead of taking you to Google’s webpage when you search through it, you can set up a special page that can display Google’s search results within your own site. Hence my having to get rid of the sidebar, since I’m not sure if I can find a way to make it narrower. I am not actually displaying any of my own ads on the search results; Google is taking care of all of that for me.
