The Beach to Beacon 10k is the largest race in Maine and is a great destination race. A first-class competitive field of both elite and local athletes lead the way through a picturesque waterfront town in this point to point race.
Unfortunately, the Beach to Beacon can be difficult to get into.
Race registration closed in record time again this year, and more people entered the lottery for the remaining registrations than could be accommodated. Unlike in previous years, there was an opportunity to transfer race registrations from people who couldn’t race to those who could, but that has now ended as well.
So, if you want to run, but weren’t able to get a bib, what are your options?
Your best option is to raise money for Junior Achievement of Maine, this year’s official race beneficiary.
They still have guaranteed entries into the race if you raise $500, as well as entries into next year’s race if you race at least $1000.
