How to perform dumbbell shrugs with an animated image showing the move.

- Stand with your legs about shoulder width apart.
- Grasp a dumbbell in each hand with your arms hanging straight by your waist and your palms facing inward.
- Keep your back straight at all times; you should only be moving your shoulders.
- Shrug your shoulders by lifting them as high as you can; if you are flexible enough touch your ears with your shoulders.
- Pause at the highest point for a moment.
- Slowly drop your shoulders back to the starting position.

(by keeping the head down and chin on the chest, its easier to get a full ROM and better contraction in the traps, just my opinion.)
Those shots seemed to go together the best; they weren’t actually taken on the same lift since the camera can’t shoot pictues particularly fast. Hence the blurred out guy in two of the frames.
