This week last year had very little news from outside of the site and a lot of news from myself. I did review a product and point out a cool new gadget for your bike, though.
- If you have ever wondered about the proper etiquette to safely swim in a pool, then you should read about my lap swimming rules. This has been a fairly popular article that even now regularly gets readers.
- This week last year was the first anniversary of the Coast to Coast run, which means that this week this year is the second anniversary of the run.
- I found out about bicycle lights that do not require batteries. When you pedal they charge a capacitor.
- Rumors went around the sports news world about the Florida Marlins moving to Las Vegas; obviously, nothing has happened on that front. Maybe now that Bud Selig is on his way out (in three years), that will change. I doubt it though.
- I introduced my current workout schedule, which gives an overview of the articles that appeared the next week detailing my three workouts per week weight lifting along with my filler days that I was swimming and running.
- I wrote about a promotion code for purchasing new Road IDs; coincidentally enough, I wrote yesterday about a similar promotion for this year.
This week last year also saw a lot of site improvements, most of which have stuck around as permanent features.
